Hot Rods & Hobbies has now relocated to Signal Hill, California. We have expanded to a 13,000 square foot shop. Everything is now under one roof! We offer one-stop shopping for show quality paint, concourse quality restoration, custom body fabrication and turnkey, built to order hot rods.

All of our work is done for special people with special cars that need extra special attention to detail. Our main focus is beautiful paint with fit and finish of the highest quality in the industry. Our paintwork has been winning awards from coast to coast.

We have also taken an aggressive step forward in building custom turnkey hot rods from the 1930’s and 1940’s and so far, all of our cars have been award winners.

We have a full service metal shop. All fabrication, mechanical, assembly, paint and body is done in house.

Not only is Scott Bonowski the owner of Hot Rods and Hobbies, he is hands on and the man behind the spray gun.

Our preferred interior shop is Fast Ed’s upholstery.
Steve Feinberg does our pinstripes and Steve Stanford does our renderings.
